Must Have Firefox Add-Ons

firefoxInternet is of no big use without a browser. I have used all kinds of browsers right from Netscape Navigator, Internet Explorer, Opera, Safari to Firefox. I must say nothing to beat Firefox’s almost crash-free browsing and magical Add-ons. If you are using browsers like IE or Opera, you have no idea what you are missing.
With Firefox’s Add-ons, we can do what we thought was almost impossible. I’m so addicted to Firefox’s friendly Add-ons that I cannot surf without them. I decided to list my favorite FireFox Add-Ons.

Must have FireFox Add-Ons

Adblock Plus

Adblock plus is the most important Add-On for me. It blocks unwanted advertisement banners, popups and irritating adverts. It even allows you to block a specific url. Sometimes I don’t like a picture to appear on a website I regularly surf. I just right click on the image and select block image. The image will never be displayed again.

Copy Plain Text

Don’t you get frustrated when you copy a text from a website and paste it elsewhere only to find out that even the formatting was copied? Copy Plain Text removes formatting from the text you copy. Select the text and right click and choose copy as plain text.

Web Developer

Web Developer may not be useful to everyone, but if you are a webmaster, it is a must. Web Developer Adds a menu and a toolbar with various web developer tools. Since I run few entertainment sites I cannot work without it.

ChatZilla

ChatZilla is another Add-On I normally use to connect to IRC. Instead of installing a complete program like mirc, you can use this add-on to chat with your IRC buddies.

Video DownloadHelper

Downloads and saves the embedded videos from sites like Youtube. Every time I find a good video I simple download and save it for later viewing.

There are many more useful Add-ons for Firefox. You can check them at the Firefox Add-On site.

If you think I missed any important or must have Firefox Add-On, please let me know.
